SUMMARY
Goal
To communicate the vision of LokaVidya and introduce the audience to what it does in a positive and delightful way.
Solution
The first step towards constructing the narrative of a user experience is always understanding the goal. After identifying that and consulting the team, I came up with a script which aligns with the vision of LokaVidya.
I divided it into parts, each of which highlighted a particular aspect to be showcased. Following that, I researched and ideated ways to effectively convey the focus points of these parts and sketched out storyboards with motion design directions for the same.
After the major design decisions were finalized, I went on to illustrate the sequences. I explored few visual themes before moving on to the fun part – motion design! Since the UI of the application had not been finalized at that time, I had to express the features conceptually. It was challenging and something very exciting to accomplish. I used motion design to establish flow and provide meaning to the information conveyed in a delightful and digestible manner.
